Welcome to Terms 1 and 2
'Our World'
This term we will be using the books 'The Big Book of the UK' and 'Katie in London' to help us find out about the countries which make up the United Kingdom.
In Topic, we will be focusing predominantly on Geography -identifying and naming the 4 countries of UK, their capital cities and significant human and physical features. We will also use the books to inspire our writing, creating stories and information texts.

We now teach Phonics across FS2 to Year 4 and children attend the Phase and Group that they need.
Your child's teacher will tell you which Phase and Group you need to look at.
