Welcome to Terms 1 and 2
The Boy at the Back of the Class
This term we are using the book ''The Boy at the Back of the Class" written by Onjali Q. Rauf to learn about refugees. With a geography focus we will be thinking about where the character in our story is from and some of the reasons behind migration, including natural factors as well as conflict. We will be thinking about what a refugee might encounter on their journey and what the perception of England might be.

We now teach Phonics across FS2 to Year 4 and children attend the Phase and Group that they need.
Your child's teacher will tell you which Phase and Group you need to look at.
