Welcome to Term 5 & 6
In term 5 & 6 we will share the text Cloud Tea Monkeys by Mal Peer and Elspeth Graham and You Wouldn't Want to Work on the Great Wall of China! by Jacqueline Morley. Children will learn about England and China, exploring their locations, capital cities, and neighboring countries. They'll discover significant landmarks such as Hadrian’s Wall in England and the Great Wall in China, both World Heritage Sites with rich histories. The topic also includes learning about tea-growing regions like Tregothnan in England and Mount Wuyi in China. Through this, children will gain a deeper understanding of geography, culture, and historical landmarks in both countries.
