Welcome to Term 5 and 6
Wildlands
This term, we are using Wildlands by Brogen Murphy as our book driver. Wildlands is an adventure story set in the near future, where a huge part of Britain has been rewilded and humans are no longer allowed to enter.
Our learning will focus on developing our key geographical, mapping, survival and outdoor learning skills. We will explore how humans interact with the natural environment and think about how landscapes can change over time. We will build on our mapping skills by using atlases, maps and digital tools to locate places, understand scale, read grid references and follow routes.
