For Book Week we have lots of things for you to get involved with:

Bedtime Stories event

Arrive in your pyjamas, bring your favourite cuddly toy and a blanket if you wish and cosy up to listen to some bedtime stories and enjoy a hot chocolate.

World Book Day

If you wish, dress up as a book character to celebrate World Book Day 2024.

Story Explorer Workshops

We are extremely fortunate that the PTA have paid for Story Explorer workshops to take place on Friday 8th March. This will be practical workshops for the children to enjoy.

Get Involved

Masked Reader

Watch the video of The Lion Inside. Can you guess who the 20 staff members are reading? Record your answers and hand it in at school for a chance to win a prize. This will be drawn on Thursday 7th March. You can use the answer sheet here, or jot the answers down with your name and class.

Extreme Reading

Take a photo reading somewhere fun, different or a little extreme! Send them into school or share them with us on our Facebook page. We would love to display these in school. 

Post-it Reviews

 Add a post it with a short sentence or key words to recommend a book you have been reading from the Reading Challenge Book List! There are speech bubble post-its available at the KS2 Reading Challenge area and from members of staff!
